Experience More This Summer with the Club!
The Letcher Elementary/Middle School Boys & Girls Club offers four weeks of summer camp for kids ages 5 and up. We pack each week with tons of fun activities and experiences in a safe, healthy environment with trained youth development professionals. No need to pack a lunch or snack for your camper, because we have that covered! All activities, meals, and snacks are included and provided FREE for caregivers. Camp is 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday. Every week we have a new theme to make sure your child gets the most out of their summer!
June 9-13
Australia
Our Australia Camp offers an exciting adventure that brings the wonders of Australia right to our kids! Campers will explore the country's unique culture, animals, and landscapes through fun activities like crafting Aussie art, learning about the Great Barrier Reef, and discovering Australian wildlife like kangaroos and koalas. They’ll also engage in games based on Australian sports, like cricket, and enjoy virtual tours of famous landmarks. This camp is a fun and educational experience that will give kids a global perspective and a deeper appreciation for Australia's rich heritage.
June 16-20
Antartica
Our Antarctica Camp is a cool adventure into the frozen world of the South Pole! Campers will discover the unique wildlife, extreme conditions, and scientific research that make Antarctica one of the most fascinating places on Earth. From learning about penguins and seals to exploring the icy landscape through virtual tours, kids will experience the wonders of this frozen continent. Fun activities like building ice shelters, conducting experiments on freezing temperatures, and creating icy art projects will make this camp a truly unforgettable journey to the land of snow and ice!

Africa
Our Africa Camp is an exciting adventure into the heart of the African continent! Campers will explore Africa’s diverse cultures, wildlife, and landscapes through hands-on activities like creating African-inspired art, learning about native animals, and discovering the traditions of various African tribes. They'll also participate in fun games and challenges inspired by African sports and discover the natural wonders of Africa, from the Sahara Desert to the savannas. This camp is a thrilling way for kids to experience the beauty and richness of Africa’s history and culture!

Asia
Our Asia Camp takes campers on an exciting journey across the diverse and vibrant continent of Asia! Kids will explore a variety of cultures, traditions, and landscapes, from the bustling cities of Japan to the lush jungles of Southeast Asia. Activities include creating traditional art, learning about iconic landmarks like the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal, and discovering fascinating animals such as pandas and tigers. Campers will also enjoy games and challenges inspired by Asian sports like table tennis and martial arts, making this an unforgettable experience filled with fun and learning!
