On April 19th the Union College Boys & Girls Club lit up the Easter season for the kids and youth of Barbourville and Knox County. The Club held a glow-in-the-dark Easter Egg hunt on the campus of Union College. Three different age groups participated in egg hunts filled with flashing and glowing rings, lights, and toys. There were plenty of sweet treats, too and a Golden Egg basket winner in each group! Families also enjoyed beverages and pizza and lots of fun giveaways. Special guest Mack the Bulldog showed up, visited with the kids, and lent a helping paw in the hunt. Barbourville businesses Crave, Grateful Ed’s Barbeque, The Ugly Mug, and the Union College Center for Health and Learning all contributed to make this event a big success.
